BBQ Maintenance Tips

Cooking Grates

Always wipe down grates immediately after every use with a paper towel or wireless grill brush.

Flavorizer Bars

Routinely check from rusting and cracks in flavorizer bars to prevent grease from getting into burner tubes.

Heat Deflectors

Make sure to check for excessive buildup on the heat deflectors that will prevent the barbecue from getting to optimal cooking temperatures.

Warming Rack

Always wipe down rack after placing food on top with a paper towel or cloth.

Drip Pan

Empty drip pan after every 15-20 uses of the barbecue to prevent overflowing into the bottom drawer.

Burner Tubes

Watch out for clogs and buildup present on the burners. If clogs are present, wipe down burners with a brush and use a toothpick to make sure holes are cleared.
